First Thoughts on The Crown S4 (Netflix series)

Everyone is lost in their own deserts but the show has to go on...

It was a fantastic cast and the directors did a wonderful job in dramatising the events. The actor who played princess Diana had completely mastered the real characters gait and body language. The series successfully portrayed the human elements of the royal members. The stuff that fairy tales are made of may be etheric in nature. Not tangible and at the cost of sounding like a pessimist unreal.

Topics of mental health, sense of duty, a nations well being have been explored with a good balance.

The drama had a very Jeffrey Archer-ish element in it while showing the journeys of the 2 women leading the nation. Margaret Thatcher and the Queen were parallel stories in this latest season. Reminded me of 'As the Crow Flies, Cane and Able'.

The significance of a great PR is another thing that drew my attention.

The most intriguing name was Alice Keppel. I wish Netflix comes up with a new series about Alice keppel.

I have more to say about the series, stay tuned for my next blog :)
